Your Part in the Culture War

We have a lot of examples of a culture war within society where the side of traditional values is more and more commonly losing to the side of the secular progressives. The problem is that many of the people aiding the secular progressives are people who agree with the side of traditional values, but because they bought the lie of liberalism are willing to sell away their way of life to ensure that the culture of depravity can take hold for the sake of equality. Equality is a lie. We are not equal. It would be nice to think so, but consider who you are supporting if you believe this lie.

#1 A case we're used to: In the early '90s the American Civil Liberties Union informed members of the California State Assembly's Education Committee that they were opposed to a bill the committee was considering. The bill, which called for traditional values in school curricula, was offensive to the ACLU because it would mandate that students be taught that monogamous, heterosexual relations solely within marriage is a traditional American value. The ACLU argued that this would be an "unconstitutional establishment of a religious doctrine in public schools." They went on to contend that the bill was an obvious violation of the First Amendment.

This assertion by the ACLU obviously points to it's desire to indoctrinate our children with the idea that homosexuality is equal to heterosexuality. Do you believe that young impressionable minds should be handicapped into believing that an "alternative lifestyle" is equal to heterosexuality and the inherent qualities of a man and a woman as complimentary beings in a monogamous relationship? Traditional values would beg you to support children with encouraging them toward that which is natural versus that which is unnatural.

#2 Who holds the culture of life?: The traditional minded person abhors the rate at which babies in this country are being aborted. It is not just the rape victim or the young girl who's stolen innocence left her with bearing the child of her sexually abusive family member. While those cases exist, it is not the norm in our society, nor is it the prime reason women are aborting babies. Abortion is the willful execution of a life. There are two sides to this issue. The pro-life side and the pro-choice side. Pro-choice says that a woman has the right to kill her baby for any reason. They have lobbied for partial birth abortion....let's think about that. Partial Birth Abortion. The baby is not terminated within the body of the mother, but after it has been partially birthed. That is a disgusting act. We live in a country where so many people are in sorrow over the prospect of not being able to have a child and yet we have a large group of people who would rather encourage a woman to kill her baby than to give the baby to a loving home where there are eager, loving parents. The pro-life side says there must be another way. We have so many innocent lives being slaughtered for the cause of a woman's right to chose. In most cases they made the choices that made them pregnant in the first place. Then we allow them to commit murder because they decide they don't want a baby. You don't have to keep your baby. You may place your child up for adoption. That is the side of the pro-life.

On the other side of this coin we have the same people who wilfully slaughter babies that are the ones rallying and protesting against capital punishment. They encourage infanticide, but want to save the lives of cold-blooded murderers. They rail against the abuses of the prison system and take 15 year-old girls in for an abortion and block parental rights to even know it's taking place. It is an interesting fact that 80% of Planned Parenthood abortion clinics are located in minority neighborhoods. It is also interesting that Margaret Sanger, the founder of the organization that would later become Planned Parenthood, advocated using birth control, sterilization, and abortion to weed out "the problem of the dependent, delinquent and defective elements in modern society." Wow, how very thoughtful and loving that statement is. The traditional value is the culture of life, and the culture of life ensures that we as a society are responsible for maintaining dignity and respect for all races and people.

#3 The religion of global warming: Al Gore is one of the prophets of the global warming movement. He and others on the left are trying to lure us into their new religion. This new religion needs no divinity in the heavens, because it's divinity is right here. Earth is what they worship and they are compelling us to worship it as well. One of their main tenets is that mankind is the evil that threatens the Earth. In the extreme green view, mankind is the scourge of this planet, the bottom rung of the ecological ladder. It's a radical view in which the cause is justified by any means necessary. We remember learning about the sale of indulgences that the Catholic church gave in place of repentance through a broken heart and a contrite spirit. All your sins could be forgotten for a fee. In this new religion they call these indulgences "carbon credits."

The traditional person is already conservation minded. They want to live off the land and help replenish it rather than inch their way toward destruction. The traditional person believes that the earth is here for our benefit. The plants and animals found on the earth are for our use and we must be good stewards of the land and the life it sustains. I'll gladly sell you some carbon credits and they'll be just as helpful to the environment as the ones Al Gore would sell you.

Since we have such strong approval from our government officials on the topic of the church of global warming aren't any of you concerned about our freedom of religion? A religion does not have to worship a god who dwells in the heavens. A religion of any amount of falsehood can be established to worship the earth. Which side are you on and why? Do you know who you follow and what their motives are?

Michael Savage coined the phrase, "liberalism is a mental disorder." This explains it all. Liberalism forces people to act in a way that is not in the best interest of themselves, their race, their religion, their country, or even their species. Liberalism causes good people to doubt their own inherent goodness, intellect, and honor. Liberalism is a mental disorder which can be fixed with doses of sanity and a realization that we are a noble and a good people who need only to look toward our best qualities instead of our worst.

Back to the lie of equality. You probably wondered what I meant in my opening statements. Are you starting to get it? Equality is a lie because it assumes that all thoughts, ideas and perspectives are correct. It is like insisting that the earth is flat in 2008. You may say it and enjoy a great following. You may convert a quarter of the whole earth to believe it, but would it make you right? Would that perspective give you a spot on the board at a major university or a seat on the US Senate? Probably not, but that is where liberalism comes into play. Liberalism says that all perspectives are valid and that there is no right or wrong, only different ways of looking at things. Do you believe that? Is the world only shades of grey in which tolerance is only reserved for the minority and not the majority? What happens when the majority sells it's right to that title through liberal perspectives? That is when the secular progressive minority takes over and the majority hands over the reigns of society. Is this where we want to send our culture? To the hands of those who preach tolerance, but don't practice it themselves? Not if I can help it.

It must be terrible to live in such internal chaos, but we can help. Come back another time for a dose of sanity and I'll help you on the journey toward clear thinking and traditional values.

Amen, brother. I read all your posts and thoroughly enjoyed them. I will be back for more.

I don't really want a gun, though. Nothing against guns, I just don't want one. :)
