Obama's Chickens Coming Home to Roost

Reverend Wright, the anti-American racist, has crawled back out from under his rock and says it's the media's fault that Barack Obama severed ties with him during the presidential campaign and that his statements were taken out of context. In my church if someone said "God damn America" from the pulpit in any context you would not see people cheering as a reaction. I suppose we'll have to see if Obama believes his former pastor of 20 years or if he keeps his distance. If there is any instance in which I believe Barack Obama definitely lied during the campaign it is his complete denial that he ever witnessed any of the racist or anti-American stuff, or that he ever saw any of the literature of the same agenda which was prominantly displayed in the church. Lets just hope that Reverend Wright finds another rock and takes his place back in the shadows. The man should be standing in the unemployment line.

Defeat for Radical Homosexual Agenda; Victory for Citizen Effort to Reverse Anti-Religious Law in MI
November 05, 2008

ANN ARBOR, MI – “Hamtramck Citizens Voting No to ‘Special Rights’ Discrimination” scored a landslide victory by overturning an ordinance enacted by their City Council in June of this year, which gave special rights to homosexuals and so-called “transgendered” individuals. The Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, represented the citizens group and joined community religious leaders in urging a “No” vote on November 4th.

Brian Rooney, a lawyer with the Thomas More Law Center, spoke at several events sponsored by the group and debunked the legal arguments made by representatives of the City Council in support of the anti-religious ordinance.

The “No” vote carried the day, 55% to 45 %.

The challenged ordinance had made it legal for men who perceive themselves as women to use women’s bathrooms in any school, business, or public facility. In classic Orwellian doublespeak, the ordinance defines such behavior as “Natural Rights of Hamtramck Residents.” Under the ordinance, any attempt to prevent such activity would have subjected the person to investigations, criminal prosecution, civil litigation, and fines of up to five hundred dollars per day.

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center stated, “Radical homosexual groups have lost statewide attempts to impose their agenda on the public. They are now engaged in a strategy of putting pressure on municipalities –in many cases successfully – to enact draconian provisions like Hamtramck’s. In this case their new strategy failed as the will of the people prevailed.”

This is an email I wrote to some family and friends regarding our experiences following the passage of proposition 8:

Hello friends and family,

I am writing to you all tonight to let you know what's going on as a result of our support of California Proposition 8 which passed resulting in a constitutional ammendment which affirms marriage as being between a man and a woman. We have been actively campaigning for Yes on 8. This is our right and in deed our responsibility to act when we feel it is necessary to ensure our way of life and our culture. It is not hateful to be active in the political process, yet it is being alleged. We have had problems on Facebook, a social network on the internet that many of you belong to. It has caused us a lot of distress and so we have both deactivated our accounts on that site. You may have received an email circulating about (my wife) being called a "bigot" among other things...well, you are getting their censored version. (My wife) has received several emails sent to her personal account and has had to read the most vile things said about her. This coming from the people preaching tolerance, the people charging that we are hateful. If any of you know (my wife), which you all do, you would know that she is not hateful. She does not look down on people because of their sexual orientation, she even thought she had friends who are gay. It turns out that if you oppose gay marriage you "hate" gay people and guess what, they probably "hate" you back. At least that has been our experience. We want you all to know that you will not find us on facebook and hopefully you will not get any hateful emails come your way. (My wife) will be changing her email account in the next day or so and she'll let people know what that is at a later time.

Many of you are LDS and others have quite a few LDS friends. (My wife) believes this all started because she deleted a facebook "friend" for his hateful rantings about the church and it's members. You all must know that with the passage of Proposition 8 we have cut the gay community in California to their core. We have campaigned on this issue without hate in our hearts. I know this because I have been there with you and seen your faces. We have spoken openly about this issue and we have not had a spirit of hate in the campaign. That does not matter to some. Hopefully we can all be wise in our actions when this issue comes up and know that this very vocal minority is angry with our church because of our involvement.

Some of you may have voted NO on prop 8. That is your right. We do not hold it against you. You may think that we are misguided or wrong, but hateful does not describe the campaign we were a part of. If you want to know what we believe about marriage and families this short proclamation is our very doctrine on the issue. We have love for all of God's children and so does the LDS church. You may not believe that, but I know it is true. That is my testimony. I hope this email finds each of you well.

Election Night Notes

Today the better candidate lost. It is unfortunate, but we are Americans and we look forward to a bright future. I don't believe our futures will always be bright, but I hope that our near future is. Now that Barack Obama has been elected there isn't much more to say. Am I supposed to rail against his ideas? How about if I give it a few days, weeks, or even months. Right now I feel that I must support Obama for the simple reason that he will soon take the oath of office as our president. I am supporting him now in hopes that my prayers will be answered and he makes correct decisions while in office. I am sure to hate his economic plans, but the one thing he cannot afford to be wrong with is the safety and overall welfare of our troops.

I hope we will all pray for Barack Obama to be the best he can for America and it's interests at home and abroad. My support now does not mean I won't criticize him, but what I hope is that nobody will be rooting for his failure as the left has done with George W. Bush. We don't need more of the same hatred from the opposing party, we need to stand united against our enemies. We must hope and pray that we can stand proudly together to defeat out enemies and keep our military men and women safe.

Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered Education for Kindergartners

Click the link!

More proof that YES on Prop 8 is a vote to keep educational activism from reaching the depravity of judicial activism.

"Mommy, what does transgendered mean?"

Thankfully my children are homeschooled. They get to learn math, science, reading and even writing during school time. So far their mom/teacher hasn't tried to teach them about straight or gay sexuality. I guess my children aren't getting the quality of education given at the local public schools.

Define Our Borders Now!!

BUILD A FREAKING FENCE!!! Chain link, a piece of barbed wire, a piece of duct tape stuck to the sand, something. There should NEVER be a "lost", or otherwise, group of MEXICAN soldiers on U.S. soil without expressed invitation done within the laws of our country and it's states. The point is that nobody should cross into U.S. soil without knowing it.

The Rich Keep Getting Poorer...not by income but by definition

Maybe Barack Obama should just ask others to stop speaking for his campaign. Bill Richardson is the latest Democrat to reveal more about the Obama tax plan. Just as we suspected, the rich keep getting poorer.

Still, so many people don't get it. The government does not have the right to keep taking more and more of our money. I could understand if you don't have any money looking at a plan like Obama's and saying, "finally Robin Hood is running for president." The big problem with Robin Hood for president is that it isn't the American way. If you want to live under that sort of rule then move to Canada. You will find things much more tolerant there. The definition of American culture is changing at an alarming rate. The traditional minded people should not have to bend and flex to the winds of change because of one unpopular president and the loud and angry minority. Once again, stand up and be heard or be forever silent.
